Background

GreenCycle Polymer Processing Sdn. Bhd., a mid-sized recycling factory in Selangor, Malaysia, needed to expand its processing capacity due to increasing demand from local plastic manufacturers.

Their existing single-shaft shredder could not handle thick PP/PE lumps and was causing frequent downtime, reducing the supply of recycled flakes for downstream washing and pelletizing processes.

Customer Requirements

• High torque for shredding thick plastic lumps and 200L–250L drums

Solution Provided

We supplied the customer with a 600-model dual-shaft shredder, equipped with:

• Alloy steel rotary blades for heavy-duty plastic shredding

• Siemens control panel with overload protection

• Low-speed, high-torque gearbox to prevent jamming

• Hydraulic feeding system for bulky materials

• Custom 20mm screen size to match their downstream washing line

Our engineering team assisted with on-site commissioning, operator training, and full process optimization.
