Co-extrusion melibatkan pengiriman dua atau lebih bahan baku cair melalui die tunggal untuk menghasilkan pipa multi-lapisan dengan berbagai warna atau ketebalan dinding.Proses ini menggabungkan berbagai plastik untuk menciptakan bahan dengan sifat yang berbeda, membuka batas-batas baru dalam rekayasa material dan mengatasi kebutuhan manufaktur yang kompleks.Co-extrusion juga mengurangi biaya dengan menggabungkan sampah daur ulang dan re-ground dalam bahan perawan untuk aplikasi seperti handrails, pagar, tabung, komponen struktural, dan wadah makanan udara.
